ILP: Parties Must Adopt Clear-Cut Strategies
The statement, a copy of which was made available to IRNA, said that under the status quo each party should inform the public of its plan of action in connection with major issues overshadowing the society and improvement of the situation.
As for its plans regarding the national might and employment, the statement said national might could be realized through legitimization of power which is obtained through genuine public participation in various scenes.
Elsewhere in its statement the ILP stressed that respect for people's votes and those elected through such votes, being responsive toward people and practice of sound management can promote people's trust.
Pointing to the issue of employment, the statement termed unemployed people as part of the larger government family and said support for unemployed youth that has been emphatically stressed by the ILP is among important subjects that has been apparently ignored by the statesmen.
The statement further added that 54 percent of the country's work force are working beyond their capacity and more than 12 hours per day, adding that if they are provided with economic welfare through rise in their wages they would not live under such circumstances.
